I taught myself to paint, slowly, through observation, following videos and pushing myself to just ‘paint’. Allowing myself to create without a specific aim made accidental smudges sprawling cities and turned torn pages into love notes. I think that’s what separates humans from most other animals. Our mistakes can be our greatest strengths.
